Joe Morizzo
BA(Hons), MArch, PGDip, ARB
Morizzo & Co was founded by Hull-born architect Joe Morizzo.
Joe graduated in 2017 from Westminster University and gained his Masters at the Leeds School of Architecture. Prior to founding Morizzo & Co, Joe worked at Surface Architects, NORD, Graeme Williamson Architects, vPPR Architects and Open Practice Architecture.
In practice he has delivered educational, commercial and residential projects such as the Gin Distillery in Whitechapel, which won a RIBA London Award and was longlisted for the RIBA House of the Year 2018.

PUBLIC PRACTICE A23
Joe has joined the Public Practice Autumn 23 Cohort Associate Programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to explore how built-environment practitioners can contribute and enhance public sector workstreams and processes; bringing new skills and knowledge to various roles within local authorities.
Joe has joined North Hertfordshire District Council as an Architect/ Senior Urban Designer and is working with the Strategic Planning and Policy teams to deliver a number of strategic sites in the district.
